At the same time we shall inform you of the accompanying security measures taken by us in terms of technology and organisation. 3. Collection and use of your data

For the scope and type of collection and use of your data, a distinction must be made between the use purely for the information purposes of our Internet presence concerning access to information and the recourse made to the services we offer:

a. Use for information purposes

The entry of personal data is not required for the use for purely information purposes of our Internet presence. In this case CHRIMALUXE collects and uses only those of your data, which are automatically transmitted to CHRIMALUXE via your Internet browser, such as:

  • Date and time of access to one of our Internet sites
  • your browser type
  • the browser settings
  • the operating system used
  • the web page last visited by you
  • the volume of data transferred and its access status ( file transfer, files not found etc.) and
  • your IP address.

These data are collected and used by CHRIMALUXE in a form that in no way requires your personal data, when you visit our site simply seeking information. This is done in order principally to allow you to use the Internet sites you have accessed, for statistical purposes and to improve our Internet offer. We store the IP address only for the duration of your visit and no analysis of personal data takes place.

b. Use of offers

If you make use of one of the services offered on our internet presence, such as ordering products or a newsletter, it may be necessary to enter your personal details. This involves only those data required for current order processing, such as your email address or your postal address, if we are despatching goods by post.

In this case your data are collected and used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the service you require, in other words processing the order or sending your the newsletter you requested. In this process data may be passed on, if necessary for the purpose mentioned above, to service providers, which provide services to us, and which we have of course selected with great care. These firms may be technical service providers or may provide us with shipping and despatch services. Your data are passed on to other third parties only where CHRIMALUXE is obliged by law to do so.

4. Informed consent under data privacy law

In addition to the services you have requested from us we should like - of course, only if you have explicitly given your consent in a separate section - to offer you access to the Internet with your interests in mind, and to send you by post or by e-mail (in the form of our Newsletter) information on interesting innovations and notices about our company or our range of goods and services and to use your data for the analysis necessary for this and for market research purposes.

You are entitled to give your consent to this separately. Having given your informed consent you are entitled to revoke it at any time with effect for the future. Information on how to exercise your right of revocation can be found in Point 8 of this statement.

5. Newsletter

In order for you to be able to register for our newsletter, as well as your informed consent in accordance with data protection law, we require at least the e-mail address, to which the Newsletter should be sent. The entry of any further details is voluntary and is used to contact you personally and so that we can configure the contents of the newsletter to your personal interests and can send clarification of enquiries to your email address.

For the despatch of the newsletter we usually use the double opt-in process, in which we send you the newsletter only once you have confirmed your prior registration via the link contained in a confirmation email sent for this purpose. This is how we ensure that only you yourself, as the owner of the e-mail address provided, can register for the newsletter. Your confirmation of this must be sent soon after receipt of the confirmation e-mail, since otherwise your registration for the newsletter will be automatically deleted from our data base.

You can unsubscribe at any time from our newsletter. To do this, you can either send an informal email to or cancel your subscription via the link at the end of the newsletter.
